Shipping
Shipping is no problem within the US, Canada and beyond. The art will be circled with plywood and surrounded with cardboard, then filled with foam. We ship UPS in most cases. If the piece is extremely large, a ground carrier will be used. We have shipped using both, and with the way we crate the art, there have been no problems. Crating fees are $50 for pieces up to 24" h, $75 for up to 36" h and $100 for up to 48". Pieces larger than 48" will probably be sent with a common carrier, and the crating needs to be more extensive. We will encase the entire piece in plywood and fill entirely with foam. This crating fee will be $150. The cost of shipping is the customer's responsibility, and will be handled at the time of completion.
Large Productions
Large production pieces are available up to 96"h. We have done larger pieces than this, so I now own an engine hoist......you get the picture. Call for an exact quote. These pieces are obviously very heavy and will need special care to be hung safely. These are sold at customer's own risk.
Custom Projects
Custom Projects, like the rodeo clown and wolves, are fifty percent of our business. Most of our work was commissioned by a customer at some point. If you can think it, we probably can do it. Each piece we do is limited to 100, and any commission, although slightly higher in price, is always numbered as 1 in the series.
Pricing
When we first started producing metal sculptures, the pricing was easy. There were standard sizes and only about a dozen different pieces, but all that has changed. We now have 50 different designs and over 180 sizes. So as you can see pricing is no longer easy. However I will say that as of July 2008, most pieces will fall into the $595 to $1995 area, with an occasional $3500 to $5000 beauty. The last thing we want is for you to not own something you really want and can keep in your family forever, so give us a chance to figure out a way to make it work for you, no matter which piece you choose or want designed........Ken and Maggie
